[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] Daekyo announced on the 11th that it has launched ‘Daekyo NewEve,’ a life solution brand that applies 46 years of accumulated educational know-how to senior services.
Daekyo NewEve is a total care service brand for seniors. It provides care services for seniors including ▲senior cognitive activity content ▲long-term care insurance service business ▲operation of caregiver training centers ▲launch of senior life care products.
Going forward, Daekyo NewEve plans to differentiate itself from other centers by offering personalized care with specialized self-produced content, standardized manpower services, and customized interiors considering senior activities and emotions.
Following the opening of the first ‘Daekyo NewEve Daycare Center’ in Gwangmyeong, Gyeonggi Province on the 10th, Daekyo plans to open the second center in Bundang, Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province in February to provide home care services. Additionally, a caregiver training center for cultivating senior care professionals will open in January at the Daekyo Tower headquarters in Gwanak-gu, Seoul.
Daekyo explained that it will continue to introduce various senior life care products, including senior customized care projects utilizing the network of Daekyo teachers with expertise.
A Daekyo official said, “With this brand launch, Daekyo has created an opportunity to become ‘the largest school in the world’ by providing educational services for all generations from infants to seniors. Moving forward, we will offer various content for seniors and expand linked projects that can create synergy with local communities.”
Earlier, in December, Daekyo published the dementia prevention book ‘Brain Training Program’ content in collaboration with Professor Kim Kiwoong, former director of the Central Dementia Center, and the Korean Association of Occupational Therapists. Through this, they provide senior-related services that enhance brain activity by subdividing difficulty levels by domain according to cognitive function levels and learning preferences.
