Travel? It's About Taking Off with Coffee... Air Busan Launches Collaboration Product with Momos Coffee

Introducing Two Coffee Goods Products: Specialty Coffee Brand and Drip Bag Coffee

Travel? It's About Taking Off with Coffee... Air Busan Launches Collaboration Product with Momos Coffee Drip bag coffee released through a collaboration between Air Busan and Momos Coffee.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Why do airlines and coffee shops collaborate? The concept of traveling with coffee catches the eye.

Air Busan has collaborated with the famous coffee brand ‘Momos Coffee’ to launch a collaboration product.

On the 11th, Air Busan announced that it has released drip bag coffee products that utilize Momos Coffee’s specialty coffee expertise and two types of badges featuring the unique images of both brands.

Momos Coffee is a specialty coffee shop where barista Jeon Ju-yeon, the first Korean barista to win first place at the World Barista Championship (WBC), belongs. Starting as a local brand in Busan in 2007, it is now recognized as a nationwide coffee gourmet brand.

The drip bag coffee produced through the collaboration is the ‘Busan Blending’ product, which flavors the spirit of Busan’s inclusiveness and hospitality. It combines Brazilian and Ethiopian coffee beans to create a comfortable and smooth taste.

The packaging was also designed to reflect Air Busan’s colors and image. Along with the drip bag product, collaboration goods were also released. According to Air Busan, the badge products themed on ‘travel and coffee’ were designed to evoke the excitement of travel and enjoying coffee at travel destinations.

The collaboration products can be purchased at the Air Busan logo shop, and a 15% discount event is being held on a first-come, first-served basis to commemorate the launch.

Air Busan continues collaborative marketing that coexists with local brands. It is currently producing and selling collaboration block toys with the block toy brand ‘Oxford,’ and last year, it also launched meal kit products with a famous pork soup restaurant in Busan.

Additionally, it is promoting ‘Tourzi,’ a micro eco-friendly car-sharing service, in partnership with a mobility startup.

An Air Busan official said, “This was planned to promote the charm of Busan, the coffee city, and to provide another enjoyment to customers interested in unique collaborations,” adding, “We plan to carry out collaboration projects with local brands to revitalize tourism and the economy.”
