Jeju Air "Most Frequent Customer Last Year, 144 Round Trips Between Gimpo and Jeju"


[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] It has been revealed that a passenger used the Gimpo~Jeju flight an average of three times a week last year. This passenger's cumulative flight distance exceeds 60,000 km.


Jeju Air announced on the 10th that after analyzing last year's passenger data, a 48-year-old woman, Ms. A, used the Gimpo~Jeju route 144 times in one year. Considering that the flight distance of the Gimpo~Jeju route is about 450 km, the total distance traveled by this passenger on Jeju Air amounts to 64,800 km, which is more than one and a half times around the Earth (about 40,000 km).


Ms. A also purchased 2,053,240 points of Refresh Points, Jeju Air's membership program, making her the customer who bought the most points. One Refresh Point is worth 1 KRW.


A 50-year-old man, Mr. C, accumulated 624,480 Refresh Points purely through flight mileage. Based on a 5% accumulation rate, this means he must have purchased airline tickets worth 12,489,600 KRW. Additionally, the customer who used the most Refresh Points last year was a 43-year-old woman, Ms. D, who used 6,381,700 points.


A 40-year-old woman, Ms. E, purchased and registered the most domestic gift tickets since Jeju Air started selling them in December 2020. Ms. E bought gift tickets worth 1,353,000 KRW and used domestic flights 18 times. A 55-year-old woman, Ms. F, used Jeju Air's international flights the most last year, boarding the Incheon~Osaka route 8 times. Infants under 24 months old numbered 25,575 passengers last year.


Meanwhile, Jeju Air surpassed 50 million cumulative domestic passengers on the 3rd. Jeju Air exceeded 50 million passengers two years after surpassing 40 million cumulative domestic passengers in January 2020.
