[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] The Gwangju-Jeonnam Regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administration announced that it will hold a 'Support Project Briefing Session' to actively support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) struggling due to US-China technological hegemony, supply chain instability, and rising raw material prices.
Considering the recent COVID-19 situation such as Omicron, the briefing session will provide guidance on support projects through videos on YouTube and other platforms.
Additionally, for associations and organizations that have separately requested explanations of SME support projects, on-site briefing sessions will be conducted under COVID-19 quarantine measures.
The briefing sessions will be divided into seven areas?startups, exports, R&D, policy funds, small business owners, etc.?so that policy demanders can selectively watch videos they need.
Furthermore, for export SMEs, an 'Export Online Briefing Session' will be held on the 19th and 20th in collaboration with KOTRA, the Small and Medium Business Corporation, local governments, and others via YouTube and Zoom.
The on-site briefing sessions will begin with the SME Convergence Gwangju-Jeonnam Federation on the 11th, followed by the Inno-Biz Association (17th), the Small Business Federation (21st), and the Gwangju-Jeonnam Venture Business Association (early February), providing customized briefings tailored to the needs of major SME associations and organizations.
Jang Dae-gyo, head of the Gwangju-Jeonnam SME Administration, will personally participate in the on-site briefing sessions to encourage local small business owners and small and venture enterprises and listen to policy difficulties and suggestions felt on-site.
