Hyundai Capital Expands K-Solution to Long-Term Car Rentals

K Solution, Industry's First Official Kia Partnership Program
Up to 1 Million KRW Discount on First Monthly Payment

[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Hyundai Capital announced on the 6th that it will conduct an auto finance promotion offering various benefits to welcome the new year 2022.

First, it will expand the K-Solution, an auto lease exclusive program launched last November in collaboration with Kia, to long-term rental cars. This program is the industry's first official partnership program that provides specialized benefits and services at every stage from vehicle selection to use and reuse for customers using Kia vehicles as leases or long-term rentals.

K-Solution is characterized by reducing the initial lump-sum burden such as down payment and acquisition tax for vehicle use, allowing customers to use vehicles with affordable monthly payments. Customers can freely choose from various Kia models ranging from compact cars like Morning and Ray to premium lines such as K9, Mohave, and Stinger.

In particular, the monthly payment discount benefit is attractive. Customers using compact cars (K-Solution Light) receive a 500,000 KRW discount on the first monthly payment, and customers using the premium line (K-Solution Premium) receive a 1,000,000 KRW discount on the first monthly payment along with free glass coating service and an in-car air purifier.

Additionally, essential new car packages such as black boxes and window tinting are offered at prices discounted by more than 60% compared to market prices when the vehicle is delivered. During the vehicle usage period, fuel discounts of 300 KRW per liter (K-Solution Light) and unlimited premium vehicle care services (K-Solution Premium) are provided at up to 70% discounted prices. If customers reuse Kia electric vehicles as leases or rentals around three months before or after the contract expiration, they also receive a 2,000,000 KRW discount on the first monthly payment.

Along with this, Hyundai Capital will run a new car installment promotion for all models of Hyundai Motor Company, Genesis, and Kia throughout January. By participating in Hyundai Motor Mobility installment promotions, customers can purchase all Hyundai models at low interest rates starting from 1.7% for usage periods of 25 to 120 months (with a down payment of 1% or more). For Genesis Mobility installment plans, purchases are possible at low interest rates up to 1.9% for usage periods of 36 to 48 months (with a down payment of 10% or more). Kia M installment plans allow new car purchases at affordable interest rates ranging from 2.5% to 2.9% for usage periods of 25 to 60 months (with a down payment of 1% or more).

The special promotion commemorating the launch of the Genesis G90 full change will also run until March 31. Hyundai Capital offers customers who sign lease or long-term rental contracts through the Genesis-exclusive financial program G-Finance a free premium window tinting service and a G90-exclusive fragrance cartridge as part of the G90 exclusive package.
