LH, 1,366 Jeonse-type Purchased Rental Housing Units... Applications Open Until the 6th

Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) announced on the 4th that it will accept applications for 1,366 jeonse-type purchase rental housing units until the 6th.

'Jeonse-type purchase rental housing' refers to housing purchased by LH and rented to non-homeowners at about 70-80% of the market price. Upon moving in, tenants pay a deposit (80%) and monthly rent (20%). By using the deposit conversion system, which lowers the deposit and raises the rent, tenants can adjust the deposit and rent levels according to their household circumstances.

As of the announcement date, December 23 of last year, any non-homeowner household member residing in the project target area can apply, with no separate income or asset requirements. In case of competition, applicants are ranked and selected based on income level. Tenants can live for up to 4 years while maintaining non-homeowner status, and if there are no standby tenants for the housing afterward, they can stay for an additional 2 years.

Applications are accepted until the 6th, and the list of candidates required to submit documents will be announced on the 10th. After document submission from January 11 to 17, the preliminary tenant order announcement and contract signing will take place next month.

Additionally, LH plans to accept applications for a total of 2,616 units, including 634 jeonse-type purchase rental housing units for newlyweds, 264 public jeonse housing units, and 1,718 jeonse-type construction rental housing units. Applications for jeonse-type purchase rental housing for newlyweds will start on the 7th, public jeonse housing on the 10th, and jeonse-type construction rental housing on the 24th.
