MMS, RCS, App Push, and SNS Messages Can Be Sent at Once
Real-Time Monitoring of Message Sending Status Provided
Cloud-Based Solution Also Reduces Cost Burden
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] LG Uplus announced on the 4th that it has launched 'U+ Message Hub,' a service that allows management of messages from various channels such as text messages, SNS, and app push notifications all at once.
Corporate messaging is a service through which companies deliver product information and advertisements to customers via text messages. The domestic corporate messaging market is expected to grow from 1.1 trillion KRW last year to 1.4 trillion KRW by 2025, with an average annual growth rate of 5%.
In line with the growth of the corporate messaging market, LG Uplus developed U+ Message Hub, an integrated messaging service that proactively reflects customer demands. This service addresses companies' concerns that it is difficult to efficiently deliver information using traditional text messages (SMS/MMS) alone, especially with the recent emergence of various online channels such as SNS.
Message Hub supports sending various types of messages?including text messages, RCS (Rich Communication Service), app push notifications, and SNS messages?through a single interface. Corporate customers can send messages via their preferred channels or selectively send messages only through channels with high customer reach rates.
It is also possible to monitor the sending status in real time after message dispatch. Corporate customers can view message delivery success rates by channel and usage status for the current month, allowing them to oversee message sending and results across multiple channels at a glance.
Developed on a cloud-based platform, Message Hub significantly reduces cost burdens for corporate customers. Companies can avoid expenses related to building and operating separate servers, and there is no need to establish additional hardware even if message volumes increase. The service uses an open API method to integrate with clients' servers, making it easy to add new features or update services.
Additionally, LG Uplus provides 24-hour monitoring services to ensure stable service and operates a dedicated call center for immediate response to service disruptions. To ensure corporate customers can use messaging services securely, the company has also obtained information security certification (ISO/IEC 27001).
Park Byung-joo, Head of Solution Business at LG Uplus, stated, “Message Hub is a messaging service that accommodates various message channels and allows management from sending to results all at once. Through Message Hub, we will support corporate customers in reducing costs and improving operational efficiency in their messaging service management.”
