[Asia Economy Reporter Chunhee Lee] Heo Eun-cheol, CEO of GC Green Cross, emphasized active change throughout this year in his New Year's address on the 3rd, stating, "Now is the time to attempt more radical changes."

Considering the COVID-19 situation, GC Green Cross announced that it omitted a separate opening ceremony and replaced it with a New Year's address notice, officially starting the new year's work.

In his New Year's address, CEO Heo said, "Now, when the whole world is slowing down and resetting its direction, is the best time to expand thinking, prepare people, organize systems, and make processes transparent," emphasizing, "It is time to attempt more radical changes." He added that for such changes, if the purpose and direction are correct, everything except the essence should be changed and attempts at change must be made.

He also emphasized to employees that they must acquire more solid skills to respond immediately to future demands and apply higher moral standards in all fields as if honing their abilities. Additionally, he expressed gratitude for the hard work of all employees last year and urged everyone to do their best to become a company that bears appropriate fruits for their efforts and prepares for the future.

Last year, GC Green Cross achieved global market success with the rare drug 'Hunterase ICV' and the hemophilia treatment 'GreenGene F.' They launched the integrated cell therapy subsidiary 'GC Cell' and continued efforts such as building a digital healthcare platform. This year, GC Green Cross plans to accelerate overseas market expansion, led by its core blood products business, and continue efforts to lead the future personalized healthcare market.
