Open Call Until January 10 Next Year... Targeting Social Organizations with Expertise in Forest Culture and Educational Activities
[Jeonju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Han-ho] Jeonbuk Province is calling for applications for a public interest activity support project in the forestry sector.
The target applicants are non-profit private organizations or non-profit corporations with expertise in forest culture and educational activities such as forest experience, exploration, and education, aiming to provide various forest welfare services to residents.
The application period is until January 10, 2022, and 46 million KRW will be supported for social group activities in the field of forest culture and education.
The project contents include forest experience and education for marginalized groups, guidance on proper hiking culture, and forest environment protection education.
One project per organization will be supported, and it is mandatory to bear at least 10% of the total project cost as self-funding.
Required documents include one copy of the project application and plan, one copy of the organization registration confirmation, and one copy of the bylaws and articles of incorporation.
Applications can be submitted by mail or by visiting the Jeollabuk-do Forest and Greenery Division in person.
Jeonbuk Province will review the appropriateness, feasibility, and concreteness of the project plans through document and on-site inspections and internal department evaluations for the applying organizations, and finalize the supported organizations and funding amounts.
Additionally, on-site communication will be conducted to identify difficulties during project implementation, and after project completion, performance evaluations will be carried out to discover the effects and areas for improvement, which will be reflected in future project implementation.
This year, Jeonbuk Province supported a total of 31 million KRW to five organizations for forestry activities such as education on hiking precautions and coping methods, forest culture classes with the forest, forest interpretation and forest hiking classes, and forest experience activities for infants and youth.
