At the end of 2020, we held the Drinkit Best & Worst Awards. This year, based on various fun contents introduced by Drinkit, we prepared a year-end party dinner. Since it was a time when many people could not gather, we enjoyed the atmosphere quietly and modestly with just the team members. The concept of this year’s year-end party was A to Z in Drinkit. We ordered and tasted memorable foods and dishes we had introduced, with the motto “Before this year ends, you must eat this again!”. Because it’s the perfect time to enjoy abundance at the end of the year!

First, we ordered a “My Pick Pizza” from Banolim Pizza Shop, including the Hot Chicken Shrimp Gold. This pizza allows you to choose four flavors in total, and the other three we picked were Banolim Sweet Potato, Whole Garlic Bulgogi, and Cheese Fry. The Hot Chicken Shrimp Gold and Cheese Fry were fiercely contested. We highly recommend these two menus to those who love the classic sweet and salty combo! The Cheese Fry was a hidden menu known to those in the know for a reason.

Subway, a convenient and easy-to-enjoy food, could not be left out. We ordered following Bomditer's unique recipe, who always finishes a 30cm sub in one sitting. Spicy Italian and Pulled Pork BBQ. The Pulled Pork BBQ was a first-time try, and it turned out to be a very satisfying combination. The meeting of tender pork and barbecue sauce was an impressive harmony of fantastic flavors.

True to editors who live and breathe tteokbokki, it also took a place on the table. Among the chain stores introduced earlier, we chose “Tteokguni’s Tteokbokki.” Its name remains delicious then and now: Rose Tteokbokki. If anyone hasn’t tried Rose Tteokbokki yet, we hope you start with Tteokguni’s Tteokbokki.

Gathering steady-seller menus from various brands and editors’ favorite combinations in one place, the warm and harmonious atmosphere unique to the year-end was heightened. We exchanged kind words for each other’s hard work throughout the year and began sharing our resolutions for the future. Yes, now is the time to bring out the drinks. Let’s open the beer prepared at this point.

The reason the editor chose Jin Lager is quite simple. It is a product that captures both taste and fun. As a craft beer collaboration between Jin Ramen and Amazing Brewing Company, among many beers struggling in the collaboration swamp, this product deserves a high score when judged by taste.

Wrapping Up 2021, DrinKit Editors' Year-End Party Light yellow-colored chicken and beer, with an alcohol content of 5.3 degrees.

And the chicken-and-beer beer was enjoyed together with Kyochon Chicken’s new beer release, but it was not as dramatically flavorful as expected. Generally, draft beer is enjoyed with chicken, so it’s questionable why ale was chosen. As an editor who enjoys the rough carbonation unique to lager, I found the taste and flavor somewhat disappointing. It was good to be able to taste the hop and malt flavors, but with chicken, it was difficult to fully appreciate the beer’s true taste.


The editors spent about two hours sharing stories. Eating delicious food lifted their spirits, and the conversation flowed smoothly. They then started another hour of chatting on the theme “Among the foods eaten this year, this was really delicious & this is something I wouldn’t eat even if someone bought it for me.” You can check the story here.
