As of 5:22 PM Korean time, the UK FTSE100 index was trading at 7,141.42, down 1.77% from the previous close, and the German DAX index was at 15,192.96, down 2.18%.

The French CAC40 index recorded a 1.91% decrease, standing at 6,794.14.
