[This Week's Paid-in Capital Increase] Paid-in Capital Increase in the Fourth Week of December

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] In the fourth week of this month (December), T'way Holdings and H&B Design will conduct rights offerings.


◆T'way Holdings= T'way Holdings will proceed with a rights offering followed by a general public offering for unsubscribed shares. Existing shareholders will subscribe on December 20-21, and the general public subscription will take place on December 23-24.


The fixed issue price is 700 KRW per share, issuing 32 million shares to raise a total of 22.4 billion KRW. All the raised funds will be used for debt repayment.


T'way Holdings manufactures and distributes PHC piles used for reinforcing soft ground at construction sites. Its consolidated subsidiaries include low-cost airline T'way Air, which operates domestic and international air transportation, and T'way Air Service, which provides ground handling services related to air transportation.


◆H&B Design= H&B Design will conduct a rights offering with priority to existing shareholders. Subscription for existing shareholders will be held on December 22-23, followed by a general public subscription on December 27-28.


The fixed issue price is 6,620 KRW per share, issuing 5.4 million shares to raise a total of 35.7 billion KRW. Of the raised funds, 15.9 billion KRW will be invested in research and development and marketing to expand the health functional food business. Additionally, 19.8 billion KRW will be used for land acquisition and other purposes to expand the health functional food business.


H&B Design distributes small home appliances such as mobile phone auxiliary batteries, chargers, smart accessories, and air purifiers. In July, it entered the health functional food market by acquiring Aribio H&B. Established in 2019, Aribio H&B is a specialized company in functional ingredient development and health functional food ODM (Original Design Manufacturing), founded by members of the health functional food division of Aribio, a new drug development company.
