[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] YJM Games announced on the 17th that it has established a development subsidiary, Uniflow, through Bomberse, the No.1 domestic graphic studio, and will strengthen its in-house mobile game development capabilities starting with the tentative title "Champions Arena."
The newly established Uniflow is an organization specializing in the development of mobile games centered on AAA-level CCG RPG (Collectible Card Game Role-Playing Game) genres. Based on the development personnel possessed by Bomberse, it plans to build a stable development system and cover everything from mobile games to metaverse games to solidify its position in the next-generation game market.
Starting with the anticipated title "Champions Arena," Uniflow plans to introduce various games that can target not only the domestic market but also the global market. To this end, a dual operation between the local development team in Vietnam and the Seoul studio will be conducted, with Vietnam focusing on developing casual genre games and the Korean studio handling directing and quality control. Additionally, joint development and project acquisition of blockchain-based hyper-casual genre games will be carried out with major domestic and international game companies.
Choi Wonjong, CEO of Bomberse, stated, "Leveraging our greatest strength in graphic design capabilities, we have established a fast-paced TF team within the studio and will expand the development roadmap encompassing the entire game development process, including future self-service and next project development."
Meanwhile, Bomberse, established in 2018, is the largest graphic production studio in Korea with about 260 professionals. Recognized for its graphic technology by global game companies, it is collaborating with major domestic and international clients and providing services tailored to various graphic needs of clients such as hand-painting, realistic characters, and background work through overseas base studios. On the 30th of last month, OneImmers acquired 100% of Bomberse's shares.
