Gochang-gun Goes 'All Out' for COVID-19 Prevention... Formation of Prevention Inspection Team

[Gochang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] Jeonbuk Gochang-gun is making an all-out effort by forming a public-private joint quarantine inspection team to curb the spread of COVID-19 in the local community and conducting special quarantine and inspection activities during the year-end and New Year holidays.

According to the county on the 17th, the previous day, members of the county's Social Welfare Division and the Women's Association Farm Housewives' Meeting inspected compliance with quarantine rules at multi-use facilities.

They visited wedding halls and funeral homes, distributed posters about the expanded implementation of the quarantine pass, and focused on checking compliance with restrictions on the number of people, disinfection and quarantine, vaccination proof and negative test confirmation, visitor log management, and mask-wearing.

For thorough quarantine, the county plans to organize an inspection team in cooperation with private organizations until January 2 next year and carry out special inspections and promotional activities.

Cho Jeongho, head of the Social Welfare Division, said, "We will continue on-site inspections and promotional activities to ensure that the county becomes a safe zone for quarantine."
