[Asia Economy Reporter Na Ye-eun] Kim Ui-gyeom, a member of the Open Democratic Party, reported that Kim Geon-hee, the spouse of Yoon Seok-yeol, the presidential candidate of the People Power Party, told a YTN reporter, "Do you think nothing will come out if you dig into me?"

On the 15th, Kim appeared on TBS Radio's 'Kim Eo-jun's News Factory' and said, "Ms. Kim had phone calls with reporters from OhmyNews and YTN," adding, "From what I understand, Ms. Kim was enraged and emotionally unstable during the call with YTN."

The previous day, YTN reported allegations that Ms. Kim had falsified her career history on a professor recruitment application submitted to Suwon Women's University in 2007. The report also included statements from Ms. Kim. OhmyNews also published a phone interview with Ms. Kim regarding the 'Julie' allegations.

Kim said, "When the YTN reporter verified the facts, Ms. Kim said, 'Then why am I the only one being harassed?' expressing her grievance and reportedly said, 'Do you think nothing will come out if you dig into me?'"

He continued, "I heard that YTN is carefully reviewing the matter," and added, "The reason I am speaking about this publicly is to urge YTN to report on it."

Kim also revealed, "With OhmyNews, Ms. Kim was a bit lighter and just shared some amusing stories. She even asked the reporter, 'What year were you born?' When told 1970, she said, 'Then you are oppa, please treat me like a younger sister.'" He added, "She said that when I enter the Blue House, I will invite her first and treat her to a meal. That was the kind of conversation she had with OhmyNews."

Kim claimed that Ms. Kim's participation in the YTN interview was planned. He explained, "When a News Bus reporter called six months ago, the phone number was unknown. She just answered it unexpectedly and said without much thought, 'Even if I want to be Julie, I can't.' That was unprepared," adding, "But this time, she answered the call in a prepared state."
