The '2021 Gwangju Jeonnam Startup Incubators Night Event' hosted by the Gwangju Jeonnam Startup Incubation Council was organized to reward startup contributors and excellent companies, share the operational achievements of outstanding local startup incubation centers, and establish a cooperative network among startup support organizations, resident companies, and prospective entrepreneurs.
At this event, Cheomdan Lab Co., Ltd. received the Minister’s Award by achieving excellent scores in evaluation areas such as sales, employment, R&D project orders, patent holdings, and investment attraction compared to the early startup stage.
Cheomdan Lab Co., Ltd. is a company that develops and manufactures ultra-low-cost polymer substrates with high light extraction functionality for high-efficiency OLEDs, and has received high evaluations for developing light extraction films for OLEDs and light diffusion plates for UV LEDs.
CEO Jang Ha-joon expressed his ambition, stating, "As an excellent new technology entrepreneur, we will strive to become a company that contributes to the regional economy and further to the national economy."
Meanwhile, Cheomdan Lab Co., Ltd., which moved into the Chosun University Production-type Startup Incubation Center in 2018, started as a materials, components, and equipment specialized company that secured core technologies to realize 탈일본 (de-Japanization) in the field of electronic materials and electronic components, and with the commercialization support from the incubation center, completed venture certification, factory registration, and company-affiliated research institute registration.
