[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] On the day before the announcement of the 2022 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) scores, the Korea Institute for Curriculum and Evaluation (KICE) decided to postpone the score notification for students who took the 'Life Science II' exam after a court issued a suspension order on the answer key error for the subject.
On the 9th, KICE announced that it would delay the score notification for 6,515 students who took Life Science II on the 10th. Students who did not choose this subject will receive their score reports as scheduled.
An official from the Ministry of Education stated, "We are currently discussing countermeasures regarding the suspension decision on Life Science II," adding, "Considering the importance of the college admission schedule, we will make a prompt decision and provide guidance on our position."
On the same day, the Seoul Administrative Court Administrative Division 6 accepted the suspension request filed by 92 Life Science II test takers against KICE, deciding to suspend the validity of the answer key until the main trial verdict. The first hearing for the main lawsuit is scheduled for the 10th.
