Gyeongnam Jeongbo University Finance and Management Department Signs Consecutive Partnership Agreements for Linked Education

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Trainee Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] The Financial Technology and Management Department at Gyeongnam Information University is expanding students' career opportunities by signing articulation agreements with domestic universities.

On the 9th, Gyeongnam Information University signed an "Articulation Agreement on Linked Curriculum" with Korea University Sejong Campus.

In September, they also signed articulation agreements with Hongik University Sejong Campus and Konkuk University Glocal Campus.

Starting from the 2022 academic year, freshmen entering the Financial Technology and Management Department can obtain an associate degree over two years and then transfer to the third year of Korea University Sejong Campus's Department of Convergence Management, Global Business Major; Hongik University Sejong Campus's Global Business Major; or Konkuk University Glocal Campus's Department of Business Administration after evaluation.

Under the agreement, the two universities will collaborate on joint development of textbooks for curriculum linkage, shared use of facilities and equipment, and mutual support among faculty to enhance teaching and learning effectiveness.

Gyeongnam Information University stated, "The agreement will provide students with continuous educational opportunities and help in the mutual utilization of resources to improve educational efficiency."

Lee Won-gu, head of the Financial Technology and Management Department, said, "We plan to expand efforts to activate linked education by consulting with universities in the Busan area as well."
