[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] Hana Bank announced on the 9th that it has signed a business agreement with DHL Korea to strengthen the overseas logistics competitiveness of export companies.


This business agreement is significant in that Hana Bank, which has strengths in foreign exchange and import-export operations, and DHL, a global leader in the logistics industry, aim for mutual growth with export SMEs through specialized foreign exchange services and advanced global logistics services.


First, through this business agreement, Hana Bank and DHL Korea will cooperate to provide a stepping stone for SMEs struggling due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic to enter the global market.


To this end, both companies will actively cooperate to strengthen the competitiveness of export companies by ▲ supporting SMEs entering the global e-commerce market ▲ providing special benefits for international logistics services ▲ joint promotional marketing, and plan to gradually expand the scope of communication and cooperation in the future.


In addition, they will jointly conduct events targeting export companies, such as preferential exchange rates and fees for export payment collection accounts, and special discounts on international logistics costs.


A Hana Bank Foreign Exchange Business Group official said, "Starting with this agreement, we are planning products that will provide practical help to strengthen the competitiveness of import-export companies," adding, "We will work hard with DHL Korea to support import-export companies and provide various benefits."
