President Moon's Message on German Chancellor's Inauguration: "Close Cooperation for Relationship Development"

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] President Moon Jae-in sent a congratulatory message on the inauguration to the new German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on the 9th via social networking service (SNS), stating, "I look forward to closely cooperating for the development of Korea-Germany relations."

President Moon said, "Chancellor Scholz, congratulations on your inauguration," and added, "I am pleased to have met you last October in Rome."

In October, President Moon visited Rome, Italy, to attend the G20 summit and held a Korea-Germany summit with former Chancellor Merkel, which Chancellor Scholz also attended.
