Gokseong-gun Launches Recruitment for 2022 Senior Job Participants

Social Activity Support Project, Recruiting a Total of 1,377 Participants

[Gokseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Cha Jong-sun] Gokseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 9th that it is recruiting participants for the 2022 Senior Job and Social Activity Support Project until December 15.

The total number of recruits is 1,377 across 4 types. For the public interest type projects, 1,122 participants are being recruited for 16 projects, and for the social service type, 135 participants for 7 projects. Additionally, 70 participants for 3 market-type projects, and 50 participants for 3 employment placement-type projects are being recruited. Each project will be carried out at 11 eup/myeon offices and 3 executing organizations ((Corporation) Korea Senior Citizens Association Gokseong Branch, (Corporation) Gokseong Saemaeul Association, Gokseong Senior Club).

Applicants for the public interest and social service type projects must be basic pension recipients aged 65 or older. For the market-type projects, participation is possible for those aged 60 or older. Applicants should bring their ID and resident registration certificate and visit the recruitment locations designated by the eup/myeon offices or the three executing organizations in their area to apply.

Considering the spread of COVID-19 variants and breakthrough infections, as well as the high fatality rate among the elderly, Gokseong-gun is taking special care in project implementation. According to the COVID-19 response manual, application days will be designated to prevent crowding and to distribute applications evenly.

Applicants are also required to take special precautions such as wearing masks. Furthermore, applications will be accepted first, but participation in the project will only be allowed after completing additional vaccination (third dose).
