[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Pulmuone Foods announced on the 9th that it has launched ‘Rich Kimchi Eomuk Jeongol,’ a convenient eomuk meal that reinterprets the popular winter dish eomuk jeongol by adding well-fermented kimchi chunks, as a Korean-style dish.
‘Rich Kimchi Eomuk Jeongol’ is characterized by using refrigerated whole kimchi instead of dried kimchi flakes to enhance the flavor of the jeongol. The kimchi, made from domestically grown napa cabbage, is matured under optimal fermentation conditions to preserve its crunchy texture and refreshing umami taste.
The product contains five different types of assorted eomuk, including ball eomuk, square eomuk, and tofu meatball eomuk, along with garaetteok (cylindrical rice cakes). Vacuum packaging is applied to maintain the freshness and chewy texture of the eomuk for a longer time, extending the shelf life and improving storage convenience and eating satisfaction.
