The DI?home platform was developed by Daelim, which possesses specialized construction IT service technology. It offers various methods for quality management of apartments, including commissioning inspection, energy management, and defect/failure rate management. DL E&C is expanding digital innovation technologies across the construction industry, including the DI?home platform. Through this, it plans to improve both quality and productivity simultaneously.
The DI?home platform has specialized functions for commissioning, quality control, and security of apartments. Previously, commissioning inspections required visiting each unit to check lighting, heating/cooling, window opening status, and more. However, DI?home allows remote testing of various functions via mobile devices and PCs, and analyzes defects through energy consumption and air quality monitoring to take appropriate measures.
Through the smart unit access management solution, access to each unit can be systematically controlled. DI?home grants unit access permissions via the worker’s smartphone application, allowing entry only to authorized units and times. Access authentication and history are strictly managed to control unnecessary unit access.
The DI?home platform also supports security services to prevent home network hacking, which has recently become a growing concern. DI?home enhances wireless communication security for in-unit wall pads and door locks, and provides a total authentication security solution through secondary authentication, communication packet encryption, and thorough app security.
DL E&C plans to integrate various technologies into the newly launched DI?home platform to add solutions for improving apartment quality from construction to post-completion. This is expected to prevent defects early and provide optimal residential products to customers through rapid response. In the future, DL E&C aims to expand and strengthen construction IT specialized services and grow DI?home into a platform service connecting smart homes and smart cities.
