Gyeongnam National University Selected as '2021 Outstanding Institution for Educational Donation'

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Gyeongnam National University announced on the 7th that it was selected as an "Excellent Institution" in the "2021 Education Donation Excellent Institution Certification System" promoted by the Ministry of Education and the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity.

The Education Donation Excellent Institution Certification System is a program that discovers and selects companies, universities, public institutions, and university student education donation clubs that lead the social return of education and the establishment of a sharing culture.

Since being selected as the Gyeongsang region base university for sports and arts education donation in 2018, Gyeongnam National University has carried out various activities targeting underprivileged areas and groups such as remote schools in the Gyeongsang region, local children's centers, and welfare centers for the disabled.

With this selection, Gyeongnam National University will maintain its qualification as an excellent education donation institution for three years until December 31, 2024.

Along with this, it will receive various benefits such as the "Education Donation Certification Mark" to be used in education donation-related activities, introduction and promotion on the education donation portal site, volunteer activity certificates issued in the name of the foundation, and participation incentives for education donation recipients.
