Emart24 Sends Half-Price Coupons Every Wednesday to 'KakaoTalk Plus Friends' Last October, a customer was exchanging a free coupon for Vita 500 provided by Emart24 for a product.

[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Emart24 announced on the 7th that it will gift discount coupons for popular products every Wednesday to KakaoTalk Plus Friends (KakaoTalk Pl친).


On the 8th, 50,000 coupons for 50% off 'I'm E Icheon Rice Cone,' which ranked first among differentiated ice creams this year, will be given away. The first 50,000 people who receive the KakaoTalk message and download the coupon can use the half-price coupon. On the 15th, 50,000 coupons for 50% off 'I'm E Bburinkle Popcorn,' which has gained popularity through a unique collaboration with chicken company bhc, will be provided.


To participate in the weekly Pl친 events, users need to add 'Emart24' by searching for it in the 'KakaoTalk Plus Friends' menu's friend search, then click the coupon receive button in the automatically sent message to get the coupon. Existing Pl친 can receive coupons through messages sent via KakaoTalk.


Emart24 stated, "Through the mobile platform that has become part of daily life, we are focusing on customer networking via mobile to naturally inform customers about Emart24 products and attract them to offline stores."


Last October, Emart24 delivered 100,000 free 'Vita500' coupons with the message of becoming a vitamin-like Emart24, and last month, they ran a hot deal allowing customers to purchase KF94 masks (3-pack, 3,000 won) for 100 won, receiving positive customer responses. The number of Pl친 also increased fivefold from October 1 to December 1.


Emart24 plans to provide gifts every Wednesday to KakaoTalk Pl친, expecting positive effects such as customers visiting franchise stores after receiving discount coupons and purchasing additional products.


Wednesday is the point just before Thursday to Saturday, the days with the highest sales of the week, and by providing discount coupons on Wednesday, they aim to play a positive role in increasing franchise store sales.
