Kiwoom Securities, Nasdaq Options Commission Discount Event

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jihwan] Kiwoom Securities announced on the 6th that it will hold a commission discount event to commemorate the launch of Nasdaq options from today until January 28, 2022.

Any customer holding an overseas futures options account can participate in the event. Upon application, the commission per Nasdaq option contract will be discounted from $7.5 to $1.5. The discount applies from the next business day after the event application until the event ends.

Among the E-mini NASDAQ100 Option and E-mini NASDAQ100 Weekly Option launched on the 29th of last month, the Nasdaq Weekly Option is currently only tradable at Kiwoom Securities in Korea. Weekly options are ultra-short-term options with a one-week expiration, offering the advantage of quickly responding to market conditions due to their short maturity.

Kiwoom Securities is also running an event that awards up to 2 million KRW to customers making their first overseas futures options trade. Customers can enjoy both the commission discount and the first trade benefits.
