Large-Scale Promotion of a Total of 48 People
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] Lee Tae-sung, vice president of SeAH Holdings, and Lee Joo-sung, vice president of SeAH Steel Holdings, both third-generation heirs of the SeAH Group owner family, have been promoted to president.
SeAH Group announced on the 6th that it has carried out a regular executive personnel reshuffle, including the promotion of three individuals to president and a total of 48 promotions.
Vice President Lee Tae-sung, who was promoted to president, is the eldest son of the late Lee Woon-hyung, the former chairman of SeAH Group and eldest son of the late Lee Jong-duk, the founder of SeAH Group. Vice President Lee Joo-sung is the eldest son of Lee Soon-hyung (second son), the current chairman leading SeAH Group. Additionally, Jo Kyu-hwan was promoted to president of SeAH ESAP.
SeAH Group explained that this personnel reshuffle aims to strengthen responsible management in line with the changing society and customer expectations by placing talented individuals with insight and expertise in key positions. The group sought to establish a healthy and flexible organizational resilience by pursuing diversity regardless of age, role, or gender.
Through this reshuffle, SeAH Group plans to proactively respond to the challenging management environment caused by the prolonged pandemic and industrial paradigm shifts.
A company official stated, "This sends a message and vision to stakeholders such as customers, shareholders, and partners that we are 'changing toward the future,'" adding, "We will leap forward as a sustainable company that makes tomorrow more promising."
