Bookstore Yes24 (CEO Kim Seok-hwan) is introducing a new model in the e-book reader 'Crema' series, the 'CremaS (crema S)'. Customers who pre-order will receive a 5,000 KRW discount coupon.
The newly released 'CremaS' is the first domestic e-book reader to feature the Android 10.0 operating system (OS) and an octa-core (Octa core 1.8GHz) CPU, delivering significantly improved performance and speed. The device has an internal storage capacity of 32GB and supports 2GB of RAM, boasting the highest capacity among all Crema models to date.
Compared to the existing 'Crema CartaG', it is lighter by 50g, weighing 150g, and has a slim thickness of 6.8mm, 1.7mm thinner, enhancing portability and reducing wrist strain during long reading sessions. Yes24's 'CremaS' features a 300ppi high-resolution top-performance e-ink Carta HD display for clearer image quality, and is equipped with front light to reduce eye fatigue even in low-light environments.
It also offers convenience with additional functions such as internet access, file transfer, music, and dictionary, and guarantees updates. The default Crema UI is optimized for book usage, making it easy for customers unfamiliar with e-book readers to use, and through the 'Open Library' feature, users can easily install viewers from their preferred e-book distributors, supporting a richer and more convenient reading experience.
The 'CremaS' is priced at 199,000 KRW, making it the most affordable device with these specifications. It is available in two colors: black and white.
To celebrate the launch of CremaS, Yes24 is running an event offering a 60-day free trial of the Book Club with the purchase of the CremaS device. Additionally, all customers who purchase and register their CremaS by February 28, 2022, will receive a 1,000 KRW eBook voucher every week for three months. Customers who register an old Crema device will receive a 5,000 KRW discount coupon for CremaS at any time.
