Asiana Airlines Sees 13,000 Passengers in Domestic Business Class One Month After Resumption

[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Asiana Airlines announced on the 6th that more than 13,500 passengers used its domestic business class service within one month of its resumption.

Asiana Airlines operates an average of 40 flights per month, with about 540 seats in domestic business class, achieving a 80% load factor. In particular, the Gimpo-Jeju route was fully booked for eight consecutive days.

Asiana Airlines' domestic business class is regarded as a premium service that satisfies the needs of customers ranging from middle-aged and older adults to the MZ generation (born from the early 1980s to the early 2000s).

To celebrate the year-end season, Asiana Airlines is holding a special fare event for all Jeju routes so that more customers can enjoy business class benefits. During the event period, business class special fare tickets start at 88,800 KRW. Tickets can be purchased from the 7th to the 14th. Detailed information about the event can be found on Asiana Airlines' website.

Currently, Asiana Airlines operates business class on all domestic routes using A321 (12 seats) and A330 (30 seats) aircraft. Domestic business class passengers are provided with 30 kg of free baggage allowance, lounge access (Gimpo Airport, Jeju Airport), business class counter service (integrated with some airport premium member counters), and priority boarding service.
