By region, there are 22 cases in Changwon, 17 in Haman, 8 in Hapcheon, 5 in Sacheon, 5 in Gimhae, 4 in Jinju, 3 in Tongyeong, 2 in Geoje, 2 in Changnyeong, 1 in Miryang, 1 in Goseong, 1 in Uiryeong, and 1 in Namhae.
Among the 22 confirmed cases in Changwon, 17 are contacts of confirmed cases within the province: 7 acquaintances, 5 family members, 4 contacts through movement paths, and 1 coworker. One case is a worker related to a welfare center located in Changwon. The cumulative number of related confirmed cases has increased to 42. One case is a family member of a confirmed case in Busan. Three cases were tested due to symptom onset, and their infection routes are under investigation.
Regarding Changwon City Hall, where two confirmed cases were reported on the 3rd and 4th, no additional confirmed cases have been identified so far.
Among the 17 confirmed cases in Haman, one is a family member of a confirmed case related to a senior citizens' center located in Haman and was tested upon personal request. The cumulative number of related confirmed cases is 40.
Twelve cases tested positive during a full inspection related to a bathhouse in Haman visited by confirmed cases. Four cases are students in the same grade as an elementary school student who tested positive. The health authorities are conducting full testing of students and staff at the school.
All eight confirmed cases in Hapcheon are acquaintances of the same confirmed case within the province.
Among the five confirmed cases in Sacheon, four are contacts of confirmed cases within the province: three acquaintances and one family member. One case was tested upon personal request, and the infection route is under investigation.
Among the five confirmed cases in Gimhae, one is an acquaintance of a confirmed case within the province. Four cases were tested due to symptom onset or personal request, and their infection routes are under investigation.
Among the four confirmed cases in Jinju, three are family members (two) and an acquaintance (one) of confirmed cases within the province. One case was tested upon personal request, and the infection route is under investigation.
The three confirmed cases in Tongyeong are residents of a welfare facility located in Tongyeong and tested positive during quarantine. The cumulative number of related confirmed cases is 18.
The two confirmed cases in Geoje are a family member and an acquaintance of confirmed cases within the province, respectively.
Among the two confirmed cases in Changnyeong, one is an acquaintance of a confirmed case within the province. One case was tested due to symptom onset, and the infection route is under investigation.
The one confirmed case in Goseong is a family member of a confirmed case in Seoul.
The confirmed cases in Miryang (1), Uiryeong (1), and Namhae (1) were tested due to symptom onset, and their infection routes are under investigation.
Two patients in their 80s and one patient in their 90s who were hospitalized at Changwon Gyeongsang National University Hospital, Gyeongsang National University Hospital, and Yangsan Busan National University Hospital have died.
Accordingly, the cumulative number of confirmed cases in the province has increased to a total of 15,575 (1,108 hospitalized, 14,410 discharged, 57 deceased).
