Hana Financial Group Receives Presidential Citation for Volunteer Award on 'Volunteer Day'

[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Hana Financial Group announced on the 5th that it was honored to receive the Presidential Citation as the only private company at the ‘2021 National Volunteer Conference’ jointly hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, the Korea Volunteer Council, and the Korea Volunteer Center Association in celebration of ‘Volunteer Day.’

The 5th is ‘International Volunteer Day’ established by the UN, and the government commemorates this day every year by discovering volunteers who have long served society and practiced love for neighbors, awarding them the ‘Korea Volunteer Award’ to express gratitude for their dedication and hard work.

Hana Financial Group received the Presidential Citation in recognition of various efforts including ▲ providing the group’s training center, Hana Global Campus, as a residential treatment center to help overcome COVID-19 ▲ supporting the construction of public daycare centers for balanced regional development and vulnerable groups ▲ purchasing mobile meal service vehicles for disaster relief support ▲ and happiness-sharing volunteer activities participated in by employees and customers together.
