[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Shin Dong-ho] Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, will conduct an on-site survey of housing characteristics for about 15,000 single-family, multi-family, and residential-commercial houses by January 31 next year to announce individual housing prices as of January 1 next year.
According to Seo-gu on the 3rd, this housing characteristics survey will focus on items that directly affect housing prices, such as housing usage, road frontage, and structure, after preliminarily checking changes in various records such as building management registers and land registers.
Seo-gu will determine the individual housing prices as of January 1 next year based on the surveyed individual housing characteristics.
Also, to ensure fairness and reliability, the prices will be verified by the Korea Real Estate Board and reviewed by the Seo-gu Real Estate Price Disclosure Committee before being finalized and announced on April 29 next year.
A Seo-gu official said, “Since this is important data used as a basis for providing price information in the housing market and for levying local and national taxes, please cooperate to ensure accurate and smooth surveys when investigators visit.”
