Samchully explained that it reorganized the organization focusing on field-oriented functions to prepare for future management and strengthen responsible management and safety management, emphasizing the recruitment of external experts with suitable capabilities and driving force, as well as the selection of talented personnel.

Having already recruited Kim Jae-sik as the new head of the New Business Division responsible for future businesses last October, Samchully plans to expand new non-energy businesses promoted by affiliates such as lifestyle culture, while stabilizing energy-related businesses such as city gas and power generation. In addition, to strengthen the environmental business sector including biogas and resource circulation, they recruited Lee Sang-bong as the head of the division to lay the foundation for sustainable growth. Furthermore, to realize carbon neutrality and actively enter new energy business fields, they expanded and reorganized existing research functions by establishing a Carbon Neutrality Research Institute directly overseen by the CEO.

Along with this, to actively respond to major disasters and establish the foundation for ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management, they will operate a Safety and Environment Committee directly under the chairman’s office to support safe business sites and focus on practicing zero-accident and zero-incident management.
