[Hwasun=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Ji-woon] Jeollanam-do Hwasun-gun (Governor Gu Chung-gon) announced on the 3rd that it will conduct a winter safety inspection targeting the Hwasun Regional Self-Sufficiency Center until January 14 next year.
In this inspection, the county plans to focus on ▲ compliance with COVID-19 response quarantine guidelines ▲ establishment of disaster response measures against heavy snow and cold weather ▲ meal hygiene management status ▲ safety management of facilities and establishment of safety management measures ▲ availability and operation of fire-fighting equipment ▲ establishment of fire prevention and response systems.
The safety inspection will be conducted by reporting the self-inspection results of the regional self-sufficiency center, followed by on-site inspections by related departments.
According to the inspection results, the county will take corrective actions for simple pointed issues, and for matters requiring budget and time, it will implement supplementary measures afterward and continue monitoring.
A county official said, “We will closely examine whether current quarantine rules are being followed and their implementation status while visiting the offices of the regional self-sufficiency center and workplaces where self-sufficiency participants work,” adding, “We will make every effort to ensure safety inspections so that vulnerable groups using the regional self-sufficiency center can participate in self-sufficiency projects with peace of mind.”
