[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] SK Incheon Petrochem announced on the 3rd that the number of beneficiary households of the 'Love Home Repair' project, which is promoted for residential welfare in the local community, has surpassed 100.
The Love Home Repair project is a residential welfare social contribution activity that repairs the homes of low-income elderly living alone in Seo-gu, in cooperation with the Incheon Metropolitan Self-Sufficiency Center and the Incheon Seo-gu Senior Welfare Center. It has been implemented since 2018.
The sponsorship funds for the Love Home Repair project were raised through the '1% Happiness Sharing Fund,' which SK Incheon Petrochem employees donate 1% of their wages to.
Meanwhile, SK Incheon Petrochem started with 16 households in the first year of the project in 2018, supported 32 households in 2019, and another 32 households in 2020. This year, the project continued targeting 20 households, bringing the total number of supported households to 100 as of December.
