Core Values for Consumers: Practicing 'Fairness and Trust'

Public Home Shopping Obtains Re-Certification for Consumer-Centered Management (CCM)

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Public Home Shopping (CEO Jo Seong-ho) announced on the 3rd that it has successfully obtained re-certification for 'Consumer-Centered Management (CCM),' certified by the Fair Trade Commission and reviewed and operated by the Korea Consumer Agency.

'Consumer-Centered Management (CCM)' is a system that evaluates the composition, continuous improvement, and implementation of consumer-centered corporate activities, with a validity period of two years. Public Home Shopping first obtained certification in December 2019 and has now received re-certification.

In this CCM re-certification evaluation, Public Home Shopping received excellent reviews for practicing ethical management that strengthens the characteristics of public institutions, such as the Open Audit Office system and the reporting system for improper solicitation and acceptance of money or valuables, as well as social contribution activities including no-margin mask sales in response to COVID-19 and campaigns to support flower farmers. This re-certification is regarded as the result of continuously conducting ethical management activities for consumers centered on Public Home Shopping's core values of 'fairness and trust.'

CEO Jo Seong-ho stated, "As a public institution home shopping under the Ministry of SMEs and Startups that carries out public distribution channels, strengthening corporate ethical management and social responsibility activities are the duties of Public Home Shopping," adding, "We will do our best to operate more active meetings and develop and implement educational programs to raise awareness of CCM in the future."
