Daewoo E&C announced on the 2nd that it plans to supply the apartment complex 'Eumseong Prugio The First' this month in B3 Block of Eumseong Enterprise Complex City, Seongbon-ri, Eumseong-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do.
The complex will consist of a total of 1,048 households across 2 basement floors to 29 above-ground floors. By exclusive area, the units are ▲74㎡A 155 households ▲74㎡B 51 households ▲84㎡A 426 households ▲84㎡B 208 households ▲84㎡C 50 households ▲110㎡A 79 households ▲110㎡B 79 households.
Eumseong-gun, Chungbuk, is located on the boundary between the Seoul metropolitan area and Chungbuk, making it the closest city in the Chungcheong region to the metropolitan area. It is one of the preferred areas for companies due to its excellent accessibility to Seoul.
In July last year, Coupang Fulfillment Service, a logistics subsidiary of Coupang, announced plans to invest a total of 100 billion KRW to build a logistics center of approximately 19,000 pyeong on a 99,173㎡ site in Geumwang Techno Valley, Eumseong-gun, aiming for completion this year.
In particular, the government decided at the end of last year to maintain the current level of the factory total quantity system (which limits the buildable area based on individual factory building size) to curb overpopulation in the metropolitan area in the '4th Metropolitan Area Readjustment Plan (2021?2040)' outlining management directions for the metropolitan area over the next 20 years. This is expected to benefit Eumseong-gun, which is adjacent to the metropolitan area.
The complex offers easy access to the Jungbu Expressway and Pyeongtaek-Jecheon Expressway by car, enabling quick entry to downtown Seoul. Additionally, it is convenient to travel to nearby areas via National Road No. 21, Local Road No. 82, and Provincial Road No. 513. Transportation options also include Osong Station on the KTX high-speed rail, Gamgok Station (planned) on the Jungbu Inland High-Speed Railway, and Cheongju International Airport.
Moreover, Eumseong-gun is a non-regulated area where applicants with a subscription savings account for at least six months are eligible for first priority in subscription, and anyone aged 19 or older can apply.
A Daewoo E&C official said, "This is the first major brand apartment complex to be built in Eumseong in about 10 years, and with nearby developments such as Xi (planned), a rare brand town will be formed in Eumseong, attracting significant interest from local demand. We plan to pay special attention not only to the complex layout but also to floor plans and landscaping to make it a landmark apartment representing Eumseong."
