Ulsan City Selected as 'Excellent' in 2021 Ministry of the Interior and Safety Financial Analysis Evaluation

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Trainee Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Ulsan City was selected as "Excellent" in the planning category in the 2021 Local Government Financial Analysis Evaluation.

Ulsan City received excellence in the planning ability area of local government financial management.

According to the evaluation results, Ulsan City had a carryover and unused fund ratio of 1.24% compared to the total budget size for the year, and the accuracy of local tax revenue estimation was 93.24%.

An official from Ulsan City stated, "We will continue to strive for soundness and efficiency in local finance."

The Local Financial Analysis Evaluation is a local finance inspection system that comprehensively analyzes and evaluates the financial status and performance of local governments nationwide, classified into 14 types.

The evaluation was conducted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, and Ulsan City secured a special grant of 50 million KRW.
