At Gimhae International Airport, there will be 2 flights on the 18th and 1 flight each on the 25th and 26th, totaling 4 flights, and at Gimpo International Airport, there will be 1 flight each on the 18th, 19th, and 26th, totaling 3 flights.
The flights departing from Gimhae International Airport will take a 1 hour and 30 minute journey flying over Tsushima Island, then circling the western Kyushu region of Japan including Saga and Kumamoto, before returning to Gimhae International Airport. The flights departing from Gimpo International Airport will take about 2 hours, flying over Daegu and Busan, then Tsushima Island, before returning to Gimpo International Airport.
Among Air Busan's non-landing international sightseeing flights in December, 3 flights are sold through the Air Busan website, while the remaining 4 flights (1 from Gimhae International Airport and 3 from Gimpo International Airport) operate as charter flights for Lotte Duty Free. The one-way total fare for the flights starts from 119,400 KRW.
Air Busan, the first domestic airline to introduce non-landing flights, operated 62 flights over the past year from December last year to last month, serving a total of 7,093 passengers with an average load factor of about 85%.
An Air Busan official said, "We recommend using the non-landing international sightseeing flights to relieve your thirst for overseas travel at an affordable price."
