Suncheon-si Selected as an Excellent Local Government in the 'Korea Architectural Administration Evaluation' Hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport

Achieving the Honor of Being Selected as an Excellent Basic Local Government for Two Consecutive Years Following Last Year

[Suncheon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Suncheon City, Jeollanam-do (Mayor Heo Seok) announced on the 1st that it was selected as an excellent basic local government in the Korea Architecture Administration Evaluation hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.

The Architecture Administration Evaluation is a system in which the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport comprehensively evaluates 243 local governments nationwide (15 metropolitan, 226 basic) to promote sound operation of architectural administration, and selects them by general category (metropolitan/basic) and special category.

Suncheon was selected as an excellent organization along with 15 basic local governments nationwide in the general category for basic local governments, which comprehensively evaluates architectural administration including rationality of architectural administrative procedures, safety management, appropriateness of maintenance management, and architectural expertise.

In particular, Suncheon achieved the great success of being selected as an excellent local government again this year following last year's selection as the best local government.

An official from the city's Architecture Division said, "Based on this year's architecture administration evaluation results, we will continue to strive to provide trusted architectural administration services that respond to social changes and citizens' demands."
