[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Hyundai Elevator announced on the 1st that it has unveiled six new models of the 2022 lineup for its main model 'N:EX'.
Launched in February, the N:EX is a belt-type elevator characterized by a lifespan 2 to 3 times longer than existing products.
It also features a 'Clean Mobility Solution' equipped with contactless systems such as Motion Call, Air Touch, and Bluetooth tagging, as well as an OH air sterilizer known to purify fine and ultrafine dust and sterilize over 91.75% of the COVID-19 virus (according to results from a U.S. FDA-certified clinical testing institution).
The six new 2022 models include two 'Artisan' lineup models, Brass and Glacier, which apply the Clean Mobility Solution as standard with premium designs, and four models?Foret, Urban, Casa, and Terrace?that embody everyday 'spaces' encountered by modern people such as forests, cities, living rooms, and terraces within a rectangular elevator cabin.
The new products expand customer options by allowing both embedded Air Touch for contactless destination calling and the Clean Mobility Solution to be applied as options.
A Hyundai Elevator official stated, "The applicable installation height of the new products has been expanded from the existing 15 floors to 25 floors (80m)," adding, "Accordingly, they can now be introduced not only in villas, commercial buildings, and office buildings but also in remodeling and newly constructed apartments."
