[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] The Blue House announced on the 1st that Suh Hoon, Director of the National Security Office, will visit Tianjin, China on the 2nd for a meeting with Yang Jiechi, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee.

This visit by Director Suh to China is at the invitation of Member Yang, and is a reciprocal visit following Member Yang's visit to Korea in August 2020.

The Blue House stated, "Director Suh plans to broadly exchange views with Member Yang on mutual interests such as Korea-China relations, the Korean Peninsula issue, and regional and international situations during the meeting."
