Prior to the proclamation ceremony, the chairman presented appointment letters to Moon Du-cheol, a professor at Yonsei University and an external member of the Kibo-ESG Management Committee who will lead Kibo's ESG management and serve as the control tower, along with two others. These individuals, as ESG experts from various fields, will be responsible for Kibo's ESG management together with three Kibo executives.

At the ESG management proclamation ceremony, the vision of "An ESG partner for small and medium venture enterprises creating sustainable value together" was declared. The joint declaration included Kibo's company-wide efforts to overcome the climate crisis, continuous creation of social value, and the commitment of labor and management to work together to become a transparent and clean public institution.

At the subsequent first meeting of the Kibo-ESG Management Committee, deliberations on the ESG management promotion plan were conducted, and a promotion plan was approved that includes both Kibo's own ESG management innovation as a leading comprehensive support institution for venture innovation and support measures for the ESG of small and medium venture enterprises.

Chairman Kim Jong-ho of Kibo stated, "We will focus on providing climate-related guarantees to small and medium venture enterprises pursuing carbon reduction to alleviate difficulties they may face under the government's carbon neutrality policy, and significantly expand social ventures that create social value so that small and medium venture enterprises can actively participate in ESG management."
