[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Happiness if followed, what if not?

Fifteen types of safety and health posters comparing industrial accidents that occur when safety rules are followed and when they are not followed in industrial sites will be released.

The Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency announced on the 30th that it will produce and distribute a total of 15 posters, including 12 related to "Safety Rules for High-Frequency Fatal Work" and 3 related to preliminary industrial workforce, musculoskeletal disorder prevention, and workplace harassment.

The 12 posters analyze tools, objects, and work types at the site that caused accidents and deaths, highlighting major fatal accident types such as falls, entrapments, and two-wheeled vehicle traffic accidents.

The poster content is expressed to allow a quick comparison of industrial accident prevention results. It places side by side real-life scenes showing situations where safety rules are properly followed during work and situations where accidents occur due to non-compliance.

To raise awareness about preventing accidents during field training for preliminary industrial workers, a poster was also produced depicting students smiling in a graduation album and students with bandages.

A poster containing an easy-to-follow 5-minute stretching method before work was also created. It is a "useful tip" that can be utilized in workplaces to prevent musculoskeletal disorders.

Workplaces and schools that need posters can download the materials from the agency’s website and use them.

From mid-December, by using the "On-site Delivery Service," posters and other safety and health materials can be ordered online and delivered to workplaces.

The agency will also develop newly produced posters as on-demand products. Anyone can freely propose opinions by reflecting external feedback.

An agency official said, "We will develop safety and health content that can be used diversely in more workplaces to prevent industrial accidents."
