Creating an Operating System for Smooth Information Exchange of Human and Material Resources
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 30th that it held the ‘Lifelong Learning Platform Construction Council’ to establish a mid- to long-term comprehensive development plan for lifelong education.
This council was organized to hold an interim report meeting on the research project for establishing the mid- to long-term comprehensive development plan for lifelong education and to set the direction for constructing the lifelong learning platform. Twelve people attended the meeting, including Jo Hyeong-ho, the vice governor and chairman of the council, lifelong education experts, and related officials.
The research project was promoted to establish the second development plan for 2022?2026, following the first mid- to long-term comprehensive development plan for lifelong education established from 2017 to 2021. Since August, it has been carried out by ‘Life and Learning Lifelong Learning’.
Sancheong-gun plans to analyze the opinions presented through the interim report meeting and the council and decide the policy direction for lifelong education for the next five years through the final report meeting in December.
Vice Governor Jo Hyeong-ho, who presided over the meeting, said, “Going forward, the department in charge of lifelong education and related local institutions will actively collaborate to create an operational system that comprehensively shares information on human and spatial resources and educational programs.” He added, “Through systematic lifelong education, we will develop specialized programs and establish a roadmap for every stage of life to improve the quality of life for residents.”
