[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Trainee Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Professor Kim Su-jeong of the Taekwondo Department at Dong-Eui University received the Excellent Paper Award at the World Taekwondo Culture Society's regular general meeting held on the 27th.

Professor Kim Su-jeong was selected for the Excellent Paper Award for publishing the paper titled "A Case Study on the Reality and Response Measures of Taekwondo Dojangs in the Post-COVID-19 Era" in the society's journal.

The paper explains the situations and meanings experienced by Taekwondo dojang instructors during the COVID-19 era through case studies.

Professor Kim has been serving as a professor in the Taekwondo Department at Dong-Eui University since 2012.

Professor Kim contributed to South Korea's sweep of gold medals in all events as a coach of the Poomsae team at the 2012 World University Taekwondo Championships. Additionally, she served as the deputy head of the Taekwondo national team at the 2019 Napoli Universiade, leading South Korea to victory.

The World Taekwondo Culture Society is an academic society representing Taekwondo, the national sport of Korea, established to promote intellectual development in Taekwondo and cultural arts.

The society publishes its journal, recognized as a registered academic journal by the Korea Research Foundation, four times a year.
