Meeting of Painter and Sculptor... Kim Nampyo & Yoon Doojin Two-Person Exhibition Held

[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] Surrealist painter Kim Nampyo and sculptor Yoon Doojin are holding a two-person exhibition at 'Tio' Art located in Jamwon-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul.

Kim Nampyo, a Seoul National University graduate, and Yoon Doojin, a Hongik University graduate, have shared their artistic views and works for over ten years. They have showcased their works not only in numerous solo exhibitions in Korea but also to audiences worldwide in New York, Amsterdam, London, and more.

The meeting of the two artists begins with the 'space' between these longtime artistic comrades, and embarks on a journey to find the answer about the space between the audience and the artist, between painting and sculpture, and beyond the works themselves.

Tio has transformed the artists' ateliers into a gallery, creating a space for communication where artists and audiences can meet anytime, not just to view the works. Through this, audiences are expected to engage more closely with the artistic worlds and exchanges of the two artists.

The exhibition runs until January 7, 2022.
