Moon Dae-young, New Director of the Judicial Research and Training Institute /
[Asia Economy Reporter Bae Kyunghwan] Moon Daeyoung, Director of the Court Administration Office's Trial Affairs Bureau, has been appointed as the Director of the Court Officials Training Institute, a position equivalent to vice minister level.
On the 29th, the Supreme Court announced that Moon, the Director of the Trial Affairs Bureau, will be appointed as the Director of the Court Officials Training Institute effective January 1 of next year.
The new director, Moon, was born in Gangwon and graduated from Hanyang University with a degree in law. After passing the Court Administration High Examination in 1992, he has worked as a court official for 28 years. Within the court, he is recognized for his integrity and gentle personality, clear distinction between public and private matters, and fair handling of duties, contributing to the development of trial affairs, registration work, and judicial administration.
Meanwhile, the Court Officials Training Institute is an educational institution responsible for theoretical and practical training of about 15,000 court officials, excluding judges.
