Gokseong-gun Saemaeul Association Shares Warm Love with 'Gochujang' and 'Kimjang Kimchi'

Selected 40 Difficult Households to Share Love

[Gokseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Cha Jongseon] The Gokseong-gun Saemaeul Association (President Kim Youngjong) delivered love-filled red pepper paste and kimchi to 400 underprivileged households selected through prior consultation with each eup and myeon office, with the participation of about 150 council and women's members from November 22 to 25.

Every year, by preparing and delivering red pepper paste and kimchi filled with love to underprivileged households in the area during the winter season, they share warm affection among local residents and take the lead in realizing a community where everyone lives together.

Kim Youngjong, president of the Saemaeul Association, said, "Although it is a small gesture, I feel proud thinking that it can be a great help to vulnerable groups and neighbors in need. The Gokseong-gun Saemaeul Association will take the lead in various volunteer activities for neighbors in difficulty."
