14 Companies Participating in Mapo 7th and Guro 6th Cohort Growth Programs
[Asia Economy Reporter Jin-ho Kim] IBK Industrial Bank announced on the 29th that it successfully concluded the demo day for its startup incubation platform, ‘IBK Changgong (創工)’.
The demo day, held simultaneously online and offline on the 26th, marked the final acceleration phase of IBK’s startup incubation platform, ‘IBK Changgong’. The main purpose was to promote companies’ products and business models to startup stakeholders and attract business partners.
At the event, 14 companies from the ‘IBK Changgong Mapo 7th batch and Guro 6th batch’ participated in pitching, and 24 companies promoted their businesses through exhibition booths. Networking was also conducted by inviting mid-sized companies trading with IBK and members of the Korea Federation of Mid-sized Enterprises.
IBK plans to support follow-up meetings targeting innovative startups and related parties such as large and mid-sized companies wishing to establish collaboration models and discover and promote new businesses, venture capitalists, and startup-related organizations.
An IBK official stated, “We will continue to actively support startups,” adding, “We will diversify the operating models of IBK Changgong to strengthen customized support according to each stage of company growth.”
